The MTO- Approved course includes 20 hours of interactive classroom instruction, 10 hours of private in-car sessions and 10 hours of independent training (home link). Through a "Real Life" approach, students will learn collision avoidance skills and emergency maneuvers in the classroom and behind the wheel. All of this offered to you at a very affordable price.

            • I am the owner/instructor and take pride in the service I offer.
            • I only take about 24 students per course and offer a limited number of courses per year.
            • Really interactive and fun in-class! eBeam (smart board technology), Google Earth, You Tube.
            • The student always leaves the car with his/her next in-car lesson scheduled.
            • I have over 10 years of experience as a driving instructor.
            • WE do NOT teach the road test route. You will learn how to drive and the road test will be a walk in the park. Graduates of TheDrivingSchool.ca has a 99% road test pass rate for this reason!
            • In-car progress reports and log books.
            • You will learn in a newer smoke-free car with many safety features and working Air Conditioning
            • We love to teach driving and we are good at what we do!

    I would like to assist you with choosing the right school. When making inquiries, be sure to ask the following questions, even when you call me:

    1) How many students do you take in your classroom? Can you learn in a class with 40 students?
    2)     How are in-car lessons scheduled?
    3) What type of vehicle do you teach out of? Does the dual brake work? Has any of you vehicles been removed from the road for being unfit? (unsafe)
    4     ) Again, talk to students and parents who have gone through this process.

     

****As a driving school, we must follow MTO guidelines that are set out in the Highway Traffic Act. The maximum of in-class a driving school is allowed to teach per day is: 5 hours. It's impossible to perform a 25 hour course in 4 days and also it's against the MTO standards.
