thedrivingschool.ca has a much different approach to driver education than other schools. Quite simply, it is the perfect balance of fun and quality. Unlike traditional driving schools that let you text in class, drive vehicles that are pulled off the road for being unsafe, or drive while the instructor gets some shut eye, (not saying any names), thedrivingschool.ca takes a no-BS, yet fun approach to learning how to drive.

Gerry has a great team of driving instructors, including himself. As a recent graduate of his program I can honestly say that I was more than satisfied with the course. It was a lot of fun, yet I was taught very seriously to become a good driver.

I don't think I'll ever forget when Gerry joined Suzanne and I in a lesson. No comment on that.

Just kidding. Gerry has a pretty unique teaching style. But it's a good kind of "unique", don't worry.

I would highly recommend this school to everyone who wants to enjoy this course while still remaining serious about becoming a good, safe driver. It truly is a perfect balance of fun and quality. Oh, and I also like that thedrivingschool.ca has some sweet vehicles...no more embarrassment while you're trying to drive!

And no, Gerry isn't paying me to say this, although it would be nice.

Be careful out there!

I learned awesome driving skills and had fun doing it. You always kept me on my toes in-car and the in-class was not boring at all like I had heard from other people who took driver's ed. What I took away from that class has helped me evade 3 collisions so far due to other idiots on the road. I recommend the driving school to all my friends.

Love the way you teach Gerry!

Gerry's driving school is an excellent school, one I would reccomend to all, in while in class , he shows you stuff you NEED to see, not stuff you WANT to see.. He shows and tells you driving like it is.

The skills I acquired while in car with Gerry and his instructors has saved me from getting into MANY collisions because of ignorant drivers. What I really appreciated the most was how much he cared about his students, and its true, he teaches you more than just the G2 test route..

If your thinking about joining any driving school, don't look any further than here.

ThedrivingSCHOOL.ca .

I emphasize school, because oddly enough, it feels nothing like being in school. The in-class portion is both entertaining and informative, Gerry's jokes are legendary, and he makes the class very tolerable. I think my favorite part of the in class is that Gerry makes it very clear that driving is not something to be taken lightly. The man knows what needs to be done to improve your abilities as a young driver, whether you choose to follow them or not is up to you.

If you're going to go to driver's ed. I would recommend you do it here. They are the cheapest in town, and get you the same level of certification as anyone else, and the best parts, they teach you how to drive, and give you a very realistic viewpoint on driving. You have to understand, that they are teaching you how to share the roads with themselves as well, and they make their suggestions about how to become a good driver not only to keep you safe, but also to keep everyone else safe.

Finally, my review of the in-car. I had Patrick as my instructor, amazing guy. He's really friendly, very good at breaking the ice, and knows what he is talking about when it comes to driving. The entire time I was in the car, despite where I was, how fast I was going, or what I was expected to do, I felt safe.

well Gerry it has been about 10 years since you taught me how to drive. It wasn't even the driving school yet! I believe you were stop n go at the time! I really enjoyed the learning experience, you were patient but very good at ensuring I knew the rules of the road! I can only hope that you continue to do what you are great at for many more teenagers and years to come! Thanks so much

Gerry's course pays for itself right away. As a young male driver, as soon as I provided my insurance company with the proof it needed that I had completed the course, I had already saved more money than I had paid to attend this school.

TheDrivingSchool.ca was a great learning experience combining interesting lessons with information essential for becoming a safe driver. The program is both affordable and reliable, standing behind their lessons with in-car cameras so that they can be reviewed later. The passenger-seat brake and gas pedal are also helpful, providing an extra safety precaution just in case something happens to go wrong. Furthermore, the instructors provide a safe environment for students by having awesome personalities and really making a connection with their students.

I am so glad I enrolled myself with the Drivingschool.ca. I heard from friends about other driving schools that it was not worth the time or money. However, I am so happy with my decision! Gerry was straightforward and practical, and always explained concepts about rules of the road. He made the in class experience go by super fast and I actually enjoyed being a part of his interactive classroom. It was not just some teacher getting paid to lecture you, but a friendly figure speaking with you in a dialogue so that you could better understand the rules of the road and why they are the way they are.

I also appreciate how Gerry risked his own life to teach us a lesson about crossing the street (when we have the right of way). LOL. But seriously, we put our trust in drivers around us even when we cross the road. We should all be observant and be on guard because we can not predict the actions of other drivers.

I was so lucky to have Suzanne as my in car instructor. I learned so much from her. She made sure I understood the concepts and explained the steps and made sure I knew why they were important. Now I find myself critiquing other drivers, when I am driving and when I am just a pedestrian. It is scary to see how many sketchy drivers there are out there. I think the Drivingschool.ca has made me more comfortable with the road and makes me more observant of how bad some other people are when they drive.

The training I did was awesome. I originally was'nt going to take a driving school. However, I felt it was a good idea to prepare me for driving "reality". Also, my first lesson with Gerry really indicated I needed to be more of a safe and responsible driver. I had a great time, and learned a lot during this course. Thank you so much! :)

I will be honest the first inclass lesson i was nervous but gerry is a very welcoming person who teaches very well and you will learn everything you need to know. I was lucky to have Suzanna as my incar instructor, i learned alot from her, and if i was doing somehing wrong she made sure she brought it to my attention right away to i could fix my mistakes, she also told me to practice them when i was at home, im a very happy person to have gone to the driving school
